Johnson County Green Party Campaign Meeting

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Upcoming events will include the Black Hawk CC Political Forum, 9/29 (Quad Cities Greens will
participate) and the Delta Sigma Theta "Issues Forum" to be held 9/29, 7:00 p.m., Iowa City Public Library.

Wendy Barth will also attend the AARP Candidates Forum – 109, 2:30 p.m., Coralville Library.

1) Our plans for an election gathering to publicize Cynthia McKinney and Wendy Barth's congressional campaign: The Mill is available for us on Saturday, October 18, 4-7 p.m., at no cost other than the food. Members decided to go with it.

2) Plans for mass mailing before the election: Labels are ready, and one of us will get envelopes (130 legal letter size and 130 small).

Inserts:
A - Greeting; encouraging Greens to vote; address for county auditor's website; candidate information (McKinney handbill, Barth card, Moeller card); quarter sheet ad for campaign event; possibly button and/or DVD? Would we need a larger envelope?
