AGENDA:

We reviewed the results of the surveys sent to members, and discussed plans for the Mike Palecek reading to be held April 15th (these included publicity; refreshments; contacting other organizations).

We discussed a possible event addressing the topic of climate change on April 14th (in celebration of Earth Day), and reviewed possible actions in support of any relevant local policy efforts (clothesline project, other environmental initiatives).

We discussed a possible visit by Mike Feinstein in June and suggestions for other activities. We also reviewed updates on state and national news, including upcoming races and openings on commissions, discussed a possible add in the Iowa City Press-Citizen special edition on organizations and clubs, and reviewed relevant local events and rallies which members may attend.
