Gaza

From our platform

We call on the U.S. President and Congress to suspend all military and foreign aid, including loans and grants, to Israel until Israel withdraws from the Occupied Territories, dismantles the separation wall in the Occupied West Bank including East Jerusalem, ends its siege of Gaza and dismantles settler colonies and systemic apartheid toward its non-Jewish citizens.

Thomas J. Barrack Jr. is not a diplomat by training, nor an academic specialist in Middle Eastern affairs. He is a billionaire real-estate investor, founder of Colony Capital, longtime confidant of Donald J. Trump, and one of the architects behind the Trump Administration’s Middle East economic agenda during its first term. In Washington and Riyadh circles he is often described as a bridge-builder between American capital and Gulf monarchies, a man who speaks the language of both high finance and regional power.

What happens in Gaza doesn't stay in Gaza. We've witnessed two full years of the most brutal tactics imaginable bent on the complete annihilation of over 2 million people. And now the wolves are on our own doorstep. Our rights are being systematically stripped away by the same people who brought us a genocide.

  • An Urgent Briefing & Action Hour

Watch an important webinar recently produced by the Green Party Peace Action Committee (GPAX) and the nascent National Arab American and Muslim American Green Party Caucus (still forming) with Dr. Jill Stein, Mark Elbourno, Wissam Charafeddine, Haig Hovaness, and Madelyn Hoffman to turn outrage into organized aid and political pressure.

  • Jill Stein Asks You to Help Save Gaza

Don't you dread this time of election season when you get crushed with postcards from candidates that don't say much, but cost a bunch of money and they end up in the recycling box? That's NOT what we're doing.

Join the Dave Sutliff-Atias for City Council campaign as we hand-deliver letters to targeted voters. It is a "lit drop" - no door knocking, no talking to voters, just a nice walk outside delivering letters in a specific neighborhood, to specific voters.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Green Party of the United States has endorsed the Global Sumud Flotilla, an international grassroots effort working to break the illegal siege on Gaza and deliver aid to the Palestinian people, in solidarity with their struggle for liberation.

The flotilla, which includes a U.S. delegation, is a direct action embodying the very values the Green Party stands for: resistance to militarism, international solidarity, and grassroots courage in the face of oppression. Delegates are risking their safety to challenge Israel’s blockade of Gaza, which has trapped over two million Palestinians in conditions described by human rights organizations as an open-air prison. The Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory set up by the UN Human Rights Council in 2021 has just concluded that Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

On September 6, the Green Party of Pennsylvania (GPPA) Steering Committee proudly endorsed the Global Sumud (Resilience) Flotilla, which is attempting to break the illegal siege of Gaza. This endorsement was requested by Bryarr Misner, a Green Party organizer from Allegheny County. The flotilla consists of more than 50 vessels with more than 1,000 participants from 44 counties.

The Steering Committee of the Green Party of the United Staes agreed via an online decision to endorse this, and the Green Party has been added to the list of signatories.

Palestinian civil society, joined by humanitarian and human rights organisations worldwide, issues this urgent and unified call: The manufactured famine in Gaza must be halted. The international community must act decisively, immediately, and with full moral and legal responsibility.

  • 18 people threatened with "chemical agents" & "you may get hurt" by Portland police

Demonstrating yet again that if you want corporate media to cover your direct actions there need to be arrests, 18 people sacrificed their freedom yesterday in Maine’s biggest city. Many of these people are my friends, both old and new. Because you meet the nicest people while working to bring public attention to those suffering under U.S. imperialism.

San Jose, CA – On Thursday, May 15, around 50 people gathered in downtown San Jose in front of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library to commemorate the 77th year of the ongoing Nakba.

Chants of “Free Palestine,” “BDS is our demand, no peace on stolen land” and “Stop bombing Gaza!” were heard throughout the streets of downtown.

Although I was a lifelong Democrat until 2024, I'd had my doubts about some Democrats in office. For the most part, I held my faith that many of them were determined to uplift the working class and remain on the right side of history.
